current events...

Due to an upload error and having a little time on my hands, this has become MftG's new home a little earlier than expected. Works out well though, keeps me from dallying. The old site is still up, but was acting wonky for me in FireFox, so i said "fuck it," use it at our own frustration.

So what's new? Apparently Todd and Adam are still working on some new tracks and when the good Dr. is done being really anal maybe we can hear a 30 sec spot or two from them - from what i've heard of them they kick ass, ranging from the Pixies like to the Resident Evil soundtrack-like (the instrumental, manson bits). Needless to say, i've been impressed, and really, isn't that the whole point? The idea is to have some sort of recording out by late spring with which to undermine the success of the release of Tool's new, as-yet-untitled-work. Fuck those guys.

Also, Todd's been working more on his painting skills, and i'll try to get him to send me some images to post up here shortly - again, according to me, they rock so hard as to flatten my balls. I really want one out here with my in the windy apple, but i'm afraid of shipping any of them... or at least paying for it...

As for me, i'm working on a few things... foremost on my head right now is a zombie-themed picture book of which i will release more info on after i speak with some publishing agents... in that vein however i've been immersing myself in all things zombie even moreso than i might have already - seriously, if i'm not at work (and even some most of the time there) all i'm doing is thinking, reading, looking or concepting zombie things. Mostly it's sad, but hopefully it will be fun and profitable at journey's end.
